Freshers Day 2019

Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce organized fresher’s day celebrations for the students who enrolled themselves in the academic year 2019-20 on 20th July, 2019. The event started off with a lamp lighting ceremony by Acting-Vice Principal Mr. Sumeet Mhatre, cultural committee members and student organising team. This was followed by a welcome dance. To introduce and provide information on various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities organised by our college, a documentary film was also showcased for the newcomers.

The celebrations continued with some amazing dance, music and special talent performances of the second year students. Students from first year also participated enthusiastically and full-fledgedly. The event had seven dance performances and three singing performances that were so energetic and entertaining. The talent showcased by the students created an electrifying ambiance. Singers and instrument players stole the heart of the people with a stand out music performance by a band of first year students. The anchors of the show kept the audiences engaged throughout the event. Their amazing comic timings and interactive skills was highly appreciated.
